Welcome to 2016. After a small break our team is ready to start the new year. We hope 2016 is a very positive and successful year not only for ourselves but to all our clients.

In 2016 we will continue our regular weekly activities online and we will add a few more interesting bits. Both our members have professional blogs where they write a few things about their work. These blogs were never mentioned publicly by the team. However, it was decided that we will now start sharing our blog posts in our Facebook page. This will help customers learn a bit about us and the work we do. So in 2016 expect to see a few posts about translation ...

We are also working on a new glossary and we want to have it published during the current year. This glossary has been scheduled for quite some time, but due to time restraints it was put on hold and the team is now ready to start working on it again.

We are ready to start the year and we count on your participation. If you have any questions you would like to ask, please fell free to post them on our social media pages or send us a private email.

Updated Words Closed During the Festive Season

Updated Words will be closed during the festive season. Our Team will be on holidays and we won't be available from the 18th December 2015 to the 18th January 2016. We will reopen on Monday, 18th January 2015. During this period we will have limited access to the Internet, but we won't be available to work.

Tradulínguas Launches the 2nd Edition of its Legal Translation Course - Contracts 1

Tradulínguas has launched the 2nd Edition of its Legal Translation e-Learning Course. This time the course will focus on Contracts and the differences and similarities between them in the Portuguese and Anglo-Saxon systems.

In this course participants will have the opportunity of studying all different components of a Contract, vocabulary and "false friends" usually associated with this type of documents and more.

The course starts on the 23rd of November, 2015 and goes until the 07th of December and will be conducted by Dra. Ana Raquel Ruivo. You can enrol until the 18th of November 2015.

Updated Words is launching its brand new website. New colours, new logo but the same service you know and trust.

After all these years having the same image and content, it was time to give our page a face lift. We changed the colour scheme and created a new logo giving it a more modern look. You will also find a few changes in the content and even in the services provided.

Tradulínguas Launches its Course Introduction to Legal Terminology in Arbitration

Tradulínguas has launched its new Course Introduction to Legal Terminology in Arbitration. 

During the Course participants will have an introduction to Arbitration and Alternative ways of solving International Disputes. Different types of arbitration, Arbitrary Court jurisdiction and many other aspects of this very interesting field.

The course will be conducted by Dr. Patrícia Rosário and Dr. Paolo Esposito. It will start on the 9th of March 2015 and it will go until the 23rd of March 2015. You can enrol until the 4th of March 2015.

Welcome to 2015

Welcome to 2015. After a short holiday period, our Team is ready for another year of interesting activities and work.

This year we have a few activities programmed and we want to keep our hard work in order to bring you useful and very interesting topics every week. We also hope we can help you solve your language problems.

So apart from our usual activities on Facebook, starting this week, we also want to bring you a new Glossary in 2015. This Glossary was programmed for 2014, but it wasn't possible to publish it then, it is planned for 2015.  

In the meantime stay tuned because there will be more interesting things coming up this year.
